Did you have a stretch marks? Does your mom and sister have stretch marks? If so, you are more likely to develop them yourself. A possible genetic element is just of the risk factors for stretch marks during pregnancy but it is one that is beyond a woman's control. It's all because of large baby size, carrying twins or triplets and excess amniotic fluid are one of the other factors that fall into that category. Some of the other factors that are more open to outside control.
Stretch marks during pregnancy are a type of scar tissue that is formed during the latter half of pregnancy as the normal skin elasticity isn't able to accommodate for the stretching that occurs during pregnancy. Stretch Marks are commonly seen in the breasts, abdomen, buttocks and thighs. Stretch marks can't be prevented with creams.
Stretch marks are very common in some people when compared to others which depend on their connective tissue makeup. The possible remedies includes consumption of a diet rich in vitamin C and E with sufficient protein and keeping the skin supple with oil, aloe vera gels and coco butter.
Exotic skin creams are only expensive and are not of any use. Usually these stretch marks fade away after each pregnancy.
